The ocean was relatively flat, so we tried a new spot that I never have dived before.
John and I were in the water around 7:30 PM; we each went our separate ways.
I was a little freaked out as I’m unfamiliar with this area.
There are piles of rocks and stretches of sand; I almost ran into the rocks a few times.
I saw plenty of lobsters, but mostly shorts.
Two lobsters the size of small dogs were hiding under a rock out of reach.
I grabbed for a few good sized lobsters, but they got away – they seem to be pretty smart here.
I ended up catching three, but two were shorts.
Short dive for a short fill.
John came back about five minutes after I had crawled on to the boat.
Totals for tonight:
Me – one
John – two good sized ones
