    Logged Dive #208 – Ripper’s Cove, Catalina

    Ripper’s Cove, Catalina
Off of the “Mr. C” Dive Boat

    Solo Diving

    In With: 2700 psi
    Out With: 1400 psi
    Max depth: 35 feet
    Waves: Insignificant
    Visibility: 20-30 feet
    Water Temperature: Cool
Total Bottom Time: About 30 minutes

Nick’s back is hurting him, so he skipped this dive.

“Jeremy” the DM on the last two dives was replaced by some really hot looking young chick.

I remained pretty shallow this dive – I still don’t have a watch and by now, according to the dive tables, I should be bent.

I saw two divers with rebreathers pass by.

While looking for lobster, I spotted an actual, living, breathing black abalone.

    A REAL abalone!

That was the highlight of this dive.

I partied all the way back.

I met the captain; Nick met a potential job lead for my brother Paul.
