Logged Dive #30 Vet’s Park, Redondo Beach, CA

    Veteran’s Park
    Redondo Beach, CA

Dove with Nick (Photos By Nick)

We were originally going to dive at Malaga Cove, but the walk to the sand, the waves and low tide made it an obviously bad spot at the time.

    We drove to Long Point.

The waves were too big for Nick to handle.

We went to Redondo Beach (Veteran’s Park) and the waves were only two to three feet – Perfect!

The Redondo Stairs From The Water

We entered the water about 9:15 AM. It was easy going out.

    Me Taking A Joke Picture

I took a joke picture of me “eating” underwater.

    Oh Crap! Where’s My Mouthpiece!?

OK, the picture has been taken, now where the hell did my mouthpiece go?

We looked for the “pilings of the old pier;” we couldn’t find them.

We went out, swam South along the self then down to 75 feet.

Then we swam North and back up the shelf.

    Perfect navigation!

A Sea Feather Off Of Redondo Beach

Sort of rough getting ashore, but it was okay. Nick did really well.
