Logged Dive #163 – Helping With An OpenWater Class – Redondo Beach

Out With: 2000 psi
Max depth: 60 feet
Waves: 0, very calm.
Visibility: 15 feet, clear. But vis started to suck down the canyon.
Water Temperature: cool
Total Bottom Time: 24 minutes
* Student’s names have been changed.
Burt’s woman gave up after the initial skin dive – this was their first time in the ocean; she did not do this dive.
I took up the back as usual; vis was great, 15 feet and very clear.
We got down to 60 feet; Burt has no fear.
He was taking his regulator out of his mouth and blowing “bubble rings.”
Farrah was sort of tired but managed to keep up with us.
Same old sights; nothing to report.
There were absolutely no waves breaking on shore at all.
