Pacific Wilderness was there also teaching a class.
We did an initial “get wet” introduction to get the students familiar with the force of the waves; of course it was done without gear on.
Bonnie had sort of a hard time getting through the surf zone; at least it took her a while.
John escorted Bonnie through the surf zone, I went out with Clyde.
Visibility sucked, but once out of the surf zone, there weren’t any problems to speak of.
Bonnie was over weighted, she crawled down the shelf.
It took her a while to get down, but once down she was OK; Clyde did fine, too.
It was the typical “follow John” dive – over the shelf, along the shelf, up the shelf.
I was the first one ashore and helped Bonnie out.
