White Point, San Pedro, CA
Dove with Nick

Out with: 900 psi
Max depth: 32 feet
Waves: 1-3 feet
Visibility: 10 feet at best
Water Temperature: 40 minutes
Total Bottom Time: Cool
I met Nick at the top of the hill at 7:30 AM.
This was supposed to be a “Pacific Wilderness Club Dive.”
However, as I found out later, only two people showed up, so they canceled.
We went out off the familiar same familiar spot as we did July 5, 2005.
It was midway between high tide going to a deep low tide.
We swam out South East; visibility sort of sucked.
The water wasn’t as cold as I thought it would be.
We came upon a lobster hole; the lobsters retreated.
We got as deep as 32 feet, so we must have been way out.
Coming in, I noticed kelp further East.
Not much else to report.
Nick got worn out going against the surf coming in; I didn’t because I’m macho.
We submerged at 8:20 AM and surfaced at 9:10 AM; we “peaked” for about 10 minutes.
