Solo Diving
Big waves, cloudy.
Dove alone, Instructor Ed was on shore.
I went to the first kelp bed, zero visability; came out with 2400 psi left in tank.
Ed saved another SCUBA instructor’s student while I was in the water.
We met Bill Strong of Hollywood Divers.

My brother Paul and his neighbor Dave stayed on shore.
Lots of kelp and sea life. Warm 60 degree water; stayed under 55 minutes.
No lobsters caught, speared some perch, took some urchins.
Had 3100 psi, came out with 400 psi.
Visibility 50 feet.
Good place; saw schools of mackerel and many lobsters.
