Instructor Ed was on shore

Time: 9 AM; Air temperature 60 degrees, water temperature was cold!

Visibility was good.

I stayed under water about 40 minutes; went to 80 feet.

Squid egg sacks littered the floor below the shelf.

There is also a “911” memorial right off the stairs before the shelf.

Went in with 2600 psi; exited with 500 psi.

C Street and The Strand

Dove with Instructor Ed, Sargeant Miller.

Swam 200 yards out looking for a kelp bed.

Everything was pretty much dead.

Four and a half foot waves, visibility 10 ft; entered with 3200 psi; exited with 700 psi.
