    Leo Carrillo State Beach, CA
    7 AM, 65 degree air, 50 degree water +/-

    Solo Diving

    Big waves, cloudy.

Dove alone, Instructor Ed was on shore.

I went to the first kelp bed, zero visability; came out with 2400 psi left in tank.

Ed saved another SCUBA instructor’s student while I was in the water.

We met Bill Strong of Hollywood Divers.

    Logged Dive #3 Leo Carrillo

    Leo Carrillo State Beach, CA

Dove with Instructor Ed and Sargeant Miller

My brother Paul and his neighbor Dave stayed on shore.

Lots of kelp and sea life. Warm 60 degree water; stayed under 55 minutes.

No lobsters caught, speared some perch, took some urchins.

Had 3100 psi, came out with 400 psi.

    Visibility 50 feet.

Good place; saw schools of mackerel and many lobsters.
