    Logged Dive #6 Veteran’s Park, Redondo Beach

    Veteran’s Park
    Redondo Beach, CA
    About 300 yards South of the Pier

    8 AM, Air 70 degrees or so, water cool.

    Had 3200 psi; exited with 500 psi.

    Dove with Instructor Ed and Sargeant Miller.

    Visibility was 15-20 feet, waves 3-4 feet.

    Maximum depth 79 feet.

    Exited water in 40 minutes because others were low on air.

    Water is dead, barely any life. No kelp.

    Reduced weight belt from 34 lbs to 30 lbs.

    7 AM 60 degree air, 50 degree water

    Same conditions as last weekend.

    Dove with Instructor Ed.

    Zero foot visibility until you get to the third kelp bed; then it was 15 feet.

    No lobsters seen; sea cucumbers were taken.
