    Dove with Nick

I met Nick at 9:30 AM at Malaga Cove; it was high tide, so I thought it might be OK.

Big, well, nuisance waves made the water look muddy; we chose to move on to Long Point.

Ed was with me; he was going free diving.

Nick, Ed and I entered the water around 10:30 AM.

Ed went West to solo dive; Nick and I went East.

Neither of us were photographing or hunting.

In a case like this, it’s watching Nick annoy all the sea creatures.

Visibility was about 15 feet, well probably 10 feet.

We stayed in water that didn’t go below 25 feet.

Nick found an octopus hole and started messing with the octopus.

All in all, an uneventful dive.

We made it out with no problems.

Ed was concerned that we were gone over one hour – I had told him to wait 45 minutes.

Ed didn’t do much free diving.
