Logged Dive #42 Veteran’s Park, Redondo Beach, CA

    Redondo Beach, CA
    (Off Veteran’s Park)

    Solo Diving

Yesterday I called Robert From Long Point to see if he wanted to dive Long Point.

After telling him about the poor visability, he declined.

    So, Redondo it is!

I got there about 10 AM.

There were many other divers there.

I found it easier to put my fins on at the water by taking my tank off and using that to lean on.

It was really shallow going out — I was sort of skimming on my stomach.

I went over the shelf – I ran in to two other divers coming up.

Going over, I was right under a huge school of mackerel.

I went down to 82 feet, got a massage (as Ed would put it) and came back up to the top of the shelf.

    I walked ashore shore.

    In With: 2800 psi
    Out With: 1000 psi
    Max depth: 82 feet
    Waves: 2 feet
    Visibility: 15 feet and clear
Water Temperature: Cold, but warmer than yesterday
