I\u2019m So Macho!\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/64.jpg\" alt=\"Cororful Malaga Cove Reef\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kelp was scarce, but the bottom is one big reef.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t see many big fish, but I saw several sand sharks and many lobsters (at least seven).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/79.jpg\" alt=\"A lobster hides during the day.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>THIS IS THE PLACE FOR LOBSTERS!<\/p>\n<p>We surfaced once because I couldn&#8217;t understand Nick&#8217;s hand signals; he wanted to know which way was the shore.<\/p>\n<p>Shore was to the South-East.<\/p>\n<p>We swam around for almost 45 minutes underwater.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/89.jpg\" alt=\"A shark ready to attack!\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/97.jpg\" alt=\"Another shark ready to attack!\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I was hesitant to shoot any fish because I didn&#8217;t know if the many bottom dwelling sharks were vegetarian.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/104.jpg\" alt=\"Yeah, sitting is hard to do weightless!\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/117.jpg\" alt=\"A crab attacks!\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A crab attacks!<\/p>\n<p>We came up farther out than our entry.<\/p>\n<p>We went ashore next to the pool where it looked like the rocks were smaller.<\/p>\n<p>Nick did great.<\/p>\n<p>He said, &#8220;I&#8217;m not afraid of rocks anymore.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In with: 2800 psi<br \/>\nOut with: 300 psi<br \/>\nMaximum depth: 20 feet<br \/>\nWaves: 1-2 feet<br \/>\nVisibility: 15 feet<br \/>\nWater temperature: 58 degrees F, according to Nick&#8217;s thermometer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malaga Cove, Palos Verdes, CA Dove with Nick (Photos By Nick) We met at 8 AM.
