Your grandfather shot all the fish.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He then recommended Moss street.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/16.jpg\" alt=\"Panaramic Of Moss Street\" \/><br \/>\nMoss Street is about 15 minutes South of the dive shop.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/23.jpg\" alt=\"The Walk Down The Stairs\" \/><br \/>\nMoss street looks similar to Shaw&#8217;s Cove.<\/p>\n<p>Facing the cove from the water, the shore is North East, slightly leaning to North.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/33.jpg\" alt=\"The look ashore from Shaw\u2019s Cove\" \/><br \/>\nI think we entered the water close to noon.<\/p>\n<p>We swam out to where the dive shop recommended.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the far reef that actually stuck out occasionally depending on the waves.<\/p>\n<p>It was very choppy.<\/p>\n<p>Nick said he was concerned going out because of the occasional rocks that the bottom is strewn with.<\/p>\n<p>Visability was 10-15 feet and soupy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/43.jpg\" alt=\"A reef off of Shaw\u2019s Cove\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/54.jpg\" alt=\"Abundant Sea Life Off Of Shaw\u2019s Cove\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/63.jpg\" alt=\"Me On The Hunt\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Grass and kelp were present. The reef is rather large but in very shallow water. Our maximum depth was 25 feet.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/83.jpg\" alt=\"Releasing A Lobster Out Of Season\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We saw several lobsters and even released one that was caught in an abandoned lobster trap.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/wp-content\/73.jpg\" alt=\"Shooting A Sheephead Before It Could Attack!\" \/><br \/>\nI finally started to see some decent sized fish.<\/p>\n<p>I shot a female Sheephead, 12 inches in length.<\/p>\n<p>After that, it was harder to catch fish.<\/p>\n<p>We did some exploring, some photography and hunting.<\/p>\n<p>We came up with 900 psi.<\/p>\n<p>Getting ashore was rough; I had one hand free, a fish hanging from me and got slightly twisted coming in navigating the sparse rocks.<\/p>\n<p>I lost my lobster gauge again.<\/p>\n<p>Nick made it in fine.<\/p>\n<p>In with: 2600 psi<br \/>\nOut with: 900 psi<br \/>\nWaves: Two feet and choppy<br \/>\nMaximum depth: 25 feet<br \/>\nWater temperature: 60 degrees F plus or minus<br \/>\nVisibility: 10-15 feet and soupy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moss Street, Laguna Beach, CA Dove with Nick (Photos By Nick) When we were at the dive shop, we asked where was a good place to go hunting.
