The boat was chartered by some guy in San Diego for him and three friends.<\/p>\n
Dan went along as DM and invited any Divevet to go.<\/p>\n
The guy who charted the boat ended up going alone.<\/p>\n
It was Captain Alec, Bob, Dan, Don (the guy who chartered the boat) and me.<\/p>\n
The boat left at 7:30 PM and we were at our secret spot within the usual time.<\/p>\n
I submerged down the anchor line and went South East after Bob.<\/p>\n
I looked and looked – all the lobsters were short.<\/p>\n
I grabbed one that could have been legal, but it got away.<\/p>\n
I ran across Bob who I witnessed pinning a bug and I thought, “Ha! This must be the spot.”<\/p>\n
I swam ahead, Bob swam the other way.<\/p>\n
I trolled and trolled… nothing!<\/p>\n
I ascended and did a long surface swim back to the boat.<\/p>\n
Everybody surfaced in the same spot; there must have been a current.<\/p>\n
Bob caught six lobsters, Dan three and Don and me nothing.<\/p>\n
We decided to go to another secret spot.<\/p>\n
