{"id":606,"date":"2006-09-10T00:42:54","date_gmt":"2006-09-10T07:42:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=606"},"modified":"2008-01-30T19:40:22","modified_gmt":"2008-01-31T02:40:22","slug":"logged-dive-204-vererans-park-solo-dive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=606","title":{"rendered":"Logged Dive #204 &#8211; Vereran&#8217;s Park Solo Dive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Veteran&#8217;s Park<br \/>\nRedondo Beach, CA<\/p>\n<p>Solo Diving<\/p>\n<p>In With: 3000 psi<br \/>\nOut With: 500 psi<br \/>\nMax depth: 105 feet<br \/>\nWaves:  1-3 feet, easy<br \/>\nVisibility: 10-20 feet<br \/>\nWater Temperature: I&#8217;m guessing 58 degrees Fahrenheit with no thermalcline.<br \/>\nTotal Bottom Time: About 35 minutes<\/p>\n<p>After stopping by Long Point and seeing the conditions &#8211; and other divers leaving, I headed over to Redondo Beach.<\/p>\n<p>It was relatively flat with a few nuisance waves.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of students were there as usual.<\/p>\n<p>I walked in to the water and put my fins on.<\/p>\n<p>I submerged to 15 feet or so and the headed West.<\/p>\n<p>I saw &#8211; sand, silt an occasional other diver, small fish, small crabs, etc.<\/p>\n<p>If you read what I wrote on my previous dives at Redondo, it was pretty much the same.<\/p>\n<p>I slowly went down the shelf and slowly swam to 105 feet.<\/p>\n<p>105 feet felt good.<\/p>\n<p>No back pain;  as Ed would put it, &#8220;a massage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I swam back up and rested a good 15 minutes above the shelf as a safety stop.<\/p>\n<p>I came ashore without incident.<\/p>\n<p>Dry Suit Greg and Dennis G were diving here, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Veteran&#8217;s Park Redondo Beach, CA Solo Diving In With: 3000 psi Out With: 500 psi Max depth: 105 feet Waves: 1-3 feet, easy Visibility: 10-20 feet Water Temperature: I&#8217;m guessing 58 degrees Fahrenheit with no thermalcline.
