{"id":497,"date":"2005-11-25T17:13:45","date_gmt":"2005-11-26T00:13:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=497"},"modified":"2008-01-26T19:30:10","modified_gmt":"2008-01-27T02:30:10","slug":"logged-dive-166","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=497","title":{"rendered":"Logged Dive #165 &#8211; Solo Diving At Marineland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Long Point, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA<br \/>\n(aka The Old Marineland)<\/p>\n<p>Solo Diving<\/p>\n<p>In With: 3000 psi<br \/>\nOut With: 1000 psi<br \/>\nMax depth: 45 feet<br \/>\nWaves:  1-3 feet<br \/>\nVisibility: 10-15 feet<br \/>\nWater Temperature: cool, getting cold.<br \/>\nTotal Bottom Time: 45 minutes<\/p>\n<p>I was too busy cleaning my condo to do my &#8220;Thanksgiving Day&#8221; dive.<\/p>\n<p>I had a hang over from last night, so I go a late start.<\/p>\n<p>The Point looked undivable with huge waves; the cove looked manageable with only a few big waves!<\/p>\n<p>I submerged around 11 AM and went North East.<\/p>\n<p>There was a lot of scenery that I never have seen before;  lots of fish, too.  <\/p>\n<p>At least more fish than in some previous dives.<\/p>\n<p>The current seemed to be going South.<\/p>\n<p>The only people in the water besides me were two female SCUBA divers and three snorkelers; Long Point was pretty deserted.<\/p>\n<p>When I came ashore I had to deal with several annoying waves.  <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve learned to stand in to the waves;  I&#8217;m glad I handled them well!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Long Point, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA (aka The Old Marineland) Solo Diving In With: 3000 psi Out With: 1000 psi Max depth: 45 feet Waves: 1-3 feet Visibility: 10-15 feet Water Temperature: cool, getting cold.
