But vis started to suck down the canyon.<br \/>\nWater Temperature: cool<br \/>\nTotal Bottom Time: 24 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>* Student&#8217;s names have been changed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Burt&#8217;s woman gave up after the initial skin dive &#8211; this was their first time in the ocean; she did not do this dive.<\/p>\n<p>I took up the back as usual;  vis was great, 15 feet and very clear.<\/p>\n<p>We got down to 60 feet;  Burt has no fear.<\/p>\n<p>He was taking his regulator out of his mouth and blowing &#8220;bubble rings.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Farrah was sort of tired but managed to keep up with us.<\/p>\n<p>Same old sights; nothing to report.<\/p>\n<p>There were absolutely no waves breaking on shore at all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Veteran&#8217;s Park, Redondo Beach, CA Dove With Instructor John, his friend Jim and John&#8217;s Open Water Students Farrah and Burt.* In With: 3000 psi Out With: 2000 psi Max depth: 60 feet Waves: 0, very calm.
