{"id":287,"date":"2004-11-06T18:14:45","date_gmt":"2004-11-07T01:14:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=287"},"modified":"2008-01-19T20:36:00","modified_gmt":"2008-01-20T03:36:00","slug":"logged-dive-86-white-point-san-pedro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=287","title":{"rendered":"Logged Dive #86 White Point, San Pedro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>White Point, San Pedro, CA<\/p>\n<p>Dove with Nick<\/p>\n<p>In with: 2900 psi<br \/>\nOut with: 900 psi<br \/>\nMax depth: 32 feet<br \/>\nWaves:  1-3 feet<br \/>\nVisibility: 10 feet at best<br \/>\nWater Temperature: 40 minutes<br \/>\nTotal Bottom Time:  Cool<\/p>\n<p>I met Nick at the top of the hill at 7:30 AM.  <\/p>\n<p>This was supposed to be a &#8220;Pacific Wilderness Club Dive.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>However, as I found out later, only two people showed up, so they canceled.<\/p>\n<p>We went out off the familiar same familiar spot as we did July 5, 2005.<\/p>\n<p>It was midway between high tide going to a deep low tide.<\/p>\n<p>We swam out South East; visibility sort of sucked.  <\/p>\n<p>The water wasn&#8217;t as cold as I thought it would be.<\/p>\n<p>We came upon a lobster hole; the lobsters retreated.<\/p>\n<p>We got as deep as 32 feet, so we must have been way out.<\/p>\n<p>Coming in, I noticed kelp further East.<\/p>\n<p>Not much else to report.<\/p>\n<p>Nick got worn out going against the surf coming in;  I didn&#8217;t because I&#8217;m macho.<\/p>\n<p>We submerged at 8:20 AM and surfaced at 9:10 AM;  we &#8220;peaked&#8221; for about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>White Point, San Pedro, CA Dove with Nick In with: 2900 psi Out with: 900 psi Max depth: 32 feet Waves: 1-3 feet Visibility: 10 feet at best Water Temperature: 40 minutes Total Bottom Time: Cool I met Nick at the top of the hill at 7:30 AM.
