Dove with Instructor John and another student Ron T. as part of an Advanced diving class. <\/p>\n
This was the navigation dive.<\/p>\n
In With: 2900 psi
\nOut With: 1200 psi
\nMax depth: 40 feet
\nWaves: 1-3 feet
\nVisibility: 20 feet plus, fantastic!
\nWater Temperature: felt warm
\nTotal Bottom Time: 35 minutes<\/p>\n
We entered the water around 8:00 AM from the stairs by the showers.<\/p>\n
We headed out and hovered over the bucket of cement.<\/p>\n
Visibility was great! We could see the bucket in 26 feet of water.<\/p>\n
We submerged and performed the task of taking our BCD jackets off and putting them back on.<\/p>\n
We then navigated a square. <\/p>\n
Ron and I alternated navigating and timing – three minutes North, right turn, three minutes East, right turn, three minutes South, right turn, then three minutes West until we hit the bucket of cement. <\/p>\n
We ended up being about 15 feet off.<\/p>\n
Ron then went three minutes West and three minutes back to the bucket. <\/p>\n
I did the same except going South and then North.<\/p>\n
