We met around 8:15 AM; there were a lot of divers there. <\/p>\n
I later found out that it was “groups” of divers from various clubs – one of the groups was from Dive and Surf.<\/p>\n
We went off the cove and went East – there was a noticeable current going West.<\/p>\n
We went East of rocks near pigeon shit cave; two lobsters were hiding under a reef.<\/p>\n
We basically circled and ran in to three other divers who were looking for two buddies that got separated. <\/p>\n
They sort of scared me; I was looking for something when they approached.<\/p>\n
Towards the shore is a dense kelp bed with lots of fish.<\/p>\n
Nick didn’t have his camera, I wasn’t hunting – we were simply sight seeing.<\/p>\n
I came back with no problems – I took my fins off and walked ashore.<\/p>\n
A girl who was entering slipped on the rocks. <\/p>\n
A male friend was helping her; I went back in the water and retrieved one of her fins. <\/p>\n
She was OK, but apparently ripped her BC jacket.<\/p>\n
Her and her buddy called off the SCUBA dive and went snorkeling.<\/p>\n
I met the other girl some time ago – I think. <\/p>\n
They didn’t seem like they knew the area though. <\/p>\n
One girl smoked clove cigarettes and the male was her boyfriend.<\/p>\n
The other girl looked really young; she was the one who fell. <\/p>\n
