{"id":264,"date":"2004-07-17T16:44:23","date_gmt":"2004-07-17T23:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=264"},"modified":"2008-01-19T00:14:09","modified_gmt":"2008-01-19T07:14:09","slug":"logged-dive-65-the-old-marineland-rpv-ca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=264","title":{"rendered":"Logged Dive #65 &#8211; The Old Marineland, RPV, CA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Long Point, CA<br \/>\n(aka The Old Marineland)<\/p>\n<p>Dove with Nick<br \/>\nIn with: 3100 psi<br \/>\nOut with: 700 psi<br \/>\nMaximum Depth: 40 feet<br \/>\nWaves: 1-3 feet<br \/>\nVisibility: 15 feet\/soupy<br \/>\nWater temperature: Cold in some places; I&#8217;ll guess 55 degrees F<br \/>\nTotal Bottom Time: 45 minutes<\/p>\n<p>This morning I bought two Aluminum tanks from some dude named Mario.  <\/p>\n<p>I met him on the 4th of July while getting my tanks filled at Sports Chalet.<\/p>\n<p>I met Nick at 9:15 AM.  <\/p>\n<p>He was slightly late &#8220;because of Donald Trump.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>No other divers were around, just fisherman.<\/p>\n<p>It looked like it was low tide.  <\/p>\n<p>I walked out to enter and put my fins on.  <\/p>\n<p>It was easy! <\/p>\n<p>Nick waited a few minutes before coming in.<\/p>\n<p>The waves were only 1-2 feet, but they rolled in over the rocks.<\/p>\n<p>We took the same course, more or less, as we did July 9, 2004 (see <a href=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/index.php?p=262\" Logged Dive #63<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Visibility was not that great &#8211; 15 feet and soupy.<\/p>\n<p>Coming in I was following the bottom and almost ran into the tail of a resting Sand Shark.
