{"id":221,"date":"2004-06-26T19:38:30","date_gmt":"2004-06-27T02:38:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=221"},"modified":"2008-01-13T15:51:36","modified_gmt":"2008-01-13T22:51:36","slug":"logged-dive-58-at-long-point","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=221","title":{"rendered":"Logged Dive #58 at Long Point"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Long Point, CA<br \/>\n(aka The Old Marineland)<\/p>\n<p>Dove with Nick<\/p>\n<p>We met at 8 AM.  <\/p>\n<p>Watching the waves I saw two divers go in and cancel the dive shortly thereafter.  <\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know why, but there was a woman there; that might explain it.<\/p>\n<p>It was an easy entry;  the swells were 1 to 2 feet and I did the new &#8220;enter with one fin on&#8221; trick.<\/p>\n<p>We swam to the first kelp bed North of Pigeon Shit Cave.<\/p>\n<p>The visibility sucked.  <\/p>\n<p>I was hoping it would be a good as last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>There was a slight current pulling us South.<\/p>\n<p>We surfaced and tried to find the second kelp bed.  <\/p>\n<p>It took a few tries, but we found a reef and hung out there for the remainder of the dive.<\/p>\n<p>Nick was photographing, I was sightseeing.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/p6261501.jpg\" alt=\"Crap!
