{"id":2190,"date":"2011-11-27T23:43:43","date_gmt":"2011-11-28T06:43:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=2190"},"modified":"2011-11-28T08:46:56","modified_gmt":"2011-11-28T15:46:56","slug":"terranea-dive-report-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=2190","title":{"rendered":"Terranea Dive Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve had a bad head cold and congestion for the last two weeks, so I&#8217;ve had to stay out of the water.<\/p>\n<p>Popping Sudafed and keeping my body hydrated with The King Of Beers hasn&#8217;t done a thing to shake this cold, except making me feel sort of strung out.<\/p>\n<p>To stay in the local diving loop, and bless my fellow local divers with my presence, I showed up to do shore support for our regular Sunday Services dive.<\/p>\n<p>Not many divers &#8211; a couple from Dive N Surf, three sort of strangers and four regular Diveveters. <\/p>\n<p>No females.<\/p>\n<p>It was a great day &#8211; very flat water with the air temperature in the mid-70s.<\/p>\n<p>Reverend Al, Chipper, Military Bob (back from Chicago, on vacation) and Ted made a safe, but boring, entrance off The Point.<\/p>\n<p>And likewise, they all made a safe, but boring exit at The Cove.<\/p>\n<p>Lobsters were spotted in the shallows and visibility was said to be 10-12 feet, with reports it got to as good as 20 feet in some areas.<\/p>\n<p>There were migrating whales in the distance.<\/p>\n<p>One of the divers was saying that he heard the whales speaking to one another &#8211; something that he had never heard before.<\/p>\n<p>It was later discovered that the &#8220;whale cries&#8221; were Ted just humming in his regulator.<\/p>\n<p>Debriefing followed, or in my case continued, as usual.<\/p>\n<p>I took the time to get used to my new camera; the video is below.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"400\" height=\"233\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HDZcj3N4vp4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>To view this video on YouTube, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HDZcj3N4vp4\" target=\"_new\">click here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This week I&#8217;m going to try Chicken Soup and Sudafed to try and shake this cold and hopefully be back under the water next weekend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve had a bad head cold and congestion for the last two weeks, so I&#8217;ve had to stay out of the water.
