{"id":18,"date":"2003-10-03T18:18:00","date_gmt":"2003-10-04T01:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/dev\/?p=18"},"modified":"2007-12-29T18:04:58","modified_gmt":"2007-12-30T01:04:58","slug":"logged-dive-16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/?p=18","title":{"rendered":"Logged Dive #16 Veteran&#8217;s Park, RB, CA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Veteran&#8217;s Park<br \/>\nRedondo Beach, CA<\/p>\n<p>Solo Diving.<\/p>\n<p>Ed is still working on getting his bar &#8220;working.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t been diving in all of September, so I went alone off of Redondo Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Ed was on shore and met my brother Paul, who&#8217;s back from Korea for a week.<\/p>\n<p>The waves were one foot at best.<\/p>\n<p>Easy in, but the visibility was only 10 to 15 feet.<\/p>\n<p>I went about 70 feet down.<\/p>\n<p>It was cold and dark; every shadow looked like a shark, but that was my mind playing tricks.<\/p>\n<p>I saw more small fish and spider crabs than ever before.<\/p>\n<p>I was under water for 35 minutes, mostly at 35 feet.<\/p>\n<p>I practiced hovering and just swam for exercise.<\/p>\n<p>I came back out walking ashore.<\/p>\n<p>Great exercise, but it gets lonely diving by myself.<\/p>\n<p>In with: 2800 psi.<br \/>\nOut with: 800 psi.<br \/>\nWaves: 1 ft.<br \/>\nMax depth: 70 ft.<br \/>\nColdest Water temp: Probably 50 degrees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Veteran&#8217;s Park Redondo Beach, CA Solo Diving.
