He brought his camera; I had my spear.<\/p>\n<p>We headed straight for the cove and went in.<\/p>\n<p>It was low tide &#8212; so low that the ocean came up to the sand beneath the rocks.<\/p>\n<p>We went to the same kelp bed as yesterday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/126.jpg\" alt=\"A reef off of Long Point\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/216.jpg\" alt=\"On the hunt\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/411.jpg\" alt=\"Nick gives the OK sign\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/515.jpg\" alt=\"A purple nudibrach.\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/314.jpg\" alt=\"Shooting a sheephead in a preemptive strike.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I shot three legal sized sheephead.<\/p>\n<p>It was basically a great dive.<\/p>\n<p>We were underwater about 50 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>We lost each other towards the end, but we surfaced after a few minutes of being alone.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/611.jpg\" alt=\"Coming out off the cove at Long Point.\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/711.jpg\" alt=\"Macho Man me!\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Do I look macho with those fish, or what?<\/p>\n<p>In with: 2900 psi<br \/>\nOut with: 400 psi<br \/>\nMax depth: 42 feet<br \/>\nWaves: 2 feet<br \/>\nVisibility: 15 feet and clear<br \/>\nWater temp: Cool<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Long Point, CA (aka The Old Marineland) Dove with Nick I met Nick at 10:15 AM.
