 I though he was going to dive with me, but he just came to collect money and drink beer.<\/p>\n<p>Reports from returning divers didn&#8217;t get my hopes up that conditions were spectacular, but I did hear the key words &#8211; &#8220;It&#8217;s diveable.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I made an easy entry into the water<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0018april09g.jpg\" alt=\"Students Enter Off The Sand\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A lot of diving students were at Vets Park.<\/p>\n<p>I submerged in 18 feet of water and hit the bottom before I saw it.<\/p>\n<p>I headed West to go over the shelf and look for better visibility.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0021april09g.jpg\" alt=\"A crab smiles for the camera.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A crab smiles for the camera.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0022april09g.jpg\" alt=\"A second crab muscles in on the shot.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A second crab muscles in on the shot.<\/p>\n<p>Vis I would have to admit, really sucked.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, to put it in divers&#8217; technical jargon, visibility really sucked ass.<\/p>\n<p>I headed down to 111 feet and got a little narced;  and what do narced divers do at 111 feet when they&#8217;re solo diving in bad visibility?<\/p>\n<p>I started practicing my singing &#8211; singing through my regulator.<\/p>\n<p>After all, who was I going to annoy?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0024april09g.jpg\" alt=\"Me singing through my regulator.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I hummed the theme song to <em>Gone With The Wind<\/em>, <em>Hawaii Five-0<\/em>, and sang my rendition of <em>El Rey<\/em> and <em>I Walk The Line<\/em>; I really have no idea why I chose those titles.<\/p>\n<p>I made my way back to the edge of the shelf and slowly ascended the canyon wall.<\/p>\n<p>I was heading back in, slowly swimming, accomplishing my safety stop at the same time when I came across something that scared the shit out of me.<\/p>\n<p>What is it?<\/p>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t recognize what it was&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0032april09g.jpg\" alt=\"Sea junk terrorizes the ocean floor\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;
