Dive and Debriefing Canceled!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0176xxxc.jpg\" alt=\"The wind is blowing.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Driving from the Long Beach Ghetto to Palos Verdes, I noticed a tremendous amount of wind.<\/p>\n<p>I thought that we probably wouldn&#8217;t be diving, but I had to check conditions myself.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0162xxxc.jpg\" alt=\"The wind is howling.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At exactly 8 AM, I pulled up to the main gate of the Terranea Resort;  the wind was howling, not one diver was around, the security guard was not in sight and the front gates were locked.<\/p>\n<p>I drove to the old &#8220;public access&#8221; lot and walked to the cliff side&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0163xxxc.jpg\" alt=\"The group contemplates the conditions.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>AngelShark, Reverend Al, Chris A and Not So New Chris were checking the conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Reports from all over Palos Verdes were that conditions sucked!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0167xxxc.jpg\" alt=\"Waves pounded against the Point.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Waves pounded against the Point;  we walked to the other side, over looking Abalone Cove&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0172xxxc.jpg\" alt=\"The protected side revealed ocean water that resembled mud.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The other side of the cove revealed ocean water that resembled mud.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/psychosolodiver.com\/wp-content\/pict0178xxxc.jpg\" alt=\"Waves pounded against the cliffs near the nude beach.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Waves pounded against the cliffs near the nude beach.<\/p>\n<p>Reverend Al said it best&#8230; &#8220;I didn&#8217;t even bring my gear, I just came down here to see how bad the conditions were.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Later posted on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.divevets.com\/forum\/index.php?topic=2185.msg12332#msg12332\" target=\"_new\">DiveVets&#8217; message board<\/a> indicated conditions even at Redondo Beach were &#8220;some of the worst conditions&#8230; ever seen there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I think the lobsters are going to be pushed ever deeper.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m on a chartered lobster boat this coming Friday and have an opportunity to go zodiac diving sometime before;  hopefully, conditions will improve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Driving from the Long Beach Ghetto to Palos Verdes, I noticed a tremendous amount of wind.
