\nNotable Event: This was the first time that I ever dove with a computer!<\/p>\n

I bought Dominic’s old computer from him for $60.<\/p>\n

Neither of us knew how the thing works, so I stuck to the dive tables and just looked at what the computer did.<\/p>\n

The plan was to try deep first and then shallower if need be.<\/p>\n

I was the first overboard and submerged down the anchor line to 85 feet.<\/p>\n

I trolled around the anchor line, then went South West and ran in to a heard of lobsters on the sand.<\/p>\n

Easy pickins’!<\/p>\n

There’s no where to hide here.<\/p>\n

I was buzzed by a sea lion looking for someone to play with.<\/p>\n

I must have been narced because I had a hard time navigating; I wasn’t sure from which direction I had been.<\/p>\n

Within 15 minutes I had bagged five good sized (for this season) bugs that I knew didn’t need remeasuring once I surfaced.<\/p>\n

I watched my air really carefully and started to surface at 1000 psi.<\/p>\n

I thought to myself, “If I only caught two more I wouldn’t have to do a second dive, I could just start drinking beer.”<\/p>\n

I surfaced after an open water safety stop and made a short surface swim back to the boat.<\/p>\n

The rest made it back with zero to three bugs.<\/p>\n

Reverend Al brought up an enormous bug!<\/p>\n
