Finally, I am back in the water after several weeks; it feels nice to finally go SCUBA diving again!<\/p>\n
I met Instructor John at the Marina; we were motoring out of the harbor on his zodiac around 7:40 PM.<\/p>\n
We submerged at our secret location and went our own separate ways.<\/p>\n
I went South bound, sort of towards shore; The vis was pretty good and clear.<\/p>\n
Within the first 10 minutes I had bagged two fairly small lobsters and trolled for more.<\/p>\n
I came across a sleeping Bat Ray that scared the shit out of me.<\/p>\n
I peaked on the surface twice to get my bearings \u2013 this is the place where I lost site of the zodiac on opening morning.<\/p>\n
Before swimming back to the boat, I remeasured my catch \u2013 they were both short!<\/p>\n
Again, these things must shrink in the air; I threw them back and swam back to the boat.<\/p>\n
John came back with three lobsters that he caught in the first five minutes when he went to check the anchor.<\/p>\n
I have to start making \u201cchecking the anchor\u201d a habit.<\/p>\n
